Libby Sheldon LSSM (Dip), MISRM

Sports Massage, Remedial Massage & Soft Tissue Therapist

Libby qualified as a Sport and Remedial Massage and Soft Tissue Therapist after graduating from the London School of Sports Massage in 2023. Having previously worked in the Arts sector she took a career break to start a family.

It was as a result of incurring an injury during a weight training session, that led to her receiving treatments from a Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist herself. This treatment allowed her to return to her training with a new found respect and appreciation for the human body, and an eye on a new career!

The importance of maintaining our bodies, and caring for ourselves cannot be underestimated when it comes to enabling us to lead an active and healthy lifestyle, regardless of intensity. Libby's passion for others to be free from aches and discomfort, whether short term or chronic, is clear in her work ethic. She tailors every treatment specifically for you, based on your initial consultation and assessment, to ensure your body is operating to the best of its ability.

Libby enjoys a very active lifestyle and trains regularly in her home gym. She enjoys Football, Tennis, Irish Dancing, trying to keep up with her two young boys and being outside in the Sussex countryside. The knowledge and discipline she has learnt over the years helps her to understand the needs and desires of her clients. A combination of her past experiences, including her own medical history, and an awe for the human body, allows her to really understand the importance of helping you feel your best.

She uses a range of techniques including postural assessment, soft tissue release, deep tissue massage, neuromuscular and muscle energy techniques. She also has a real passion for treating, and reducing the effects of scar tissue.

Libby is a member of the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage (ISRM), membership number 13060, and is insured with Balens Limited underwritten by Zurich Insurance Plc.
